Auto Salon 2010 Wrap Up – Perth

Autosalon returned to Perth on the 24th and 25th of July to the Perth Car Show scene after a year’s absence. With crowds in excess of 20,000 over the 2 days, the event proved to be a great success.

The Tech 9 Tyres crew once again put an amazing display on which ‘Wowed” spectators and cleaned up multiple awards including King of Autosalon for Luke’s HI PSI 2JZ power 180SX. Fabcar teamed up with the Tech 9 crew to supply a number of vehicles including David’s JAP CRAP R34 GTR, which won the Tough as Nails award, as well as a US-styled V36 Sedan.

The Tech 9 Tyres display was a major draw card over the weekend not only for the awesome cars on display ranging from, Award winning Holden’s, some tricked out JDM cars, Mini trucks. an immaculate Ford Mustang and a Fabcar supplied 360 Ferrari Modena, rolling on 20” GFG wheels. As good as they were these cars overshadow at times as punters queued to get a photo taken with beauty Krystal Forscutt (Big Brother) who was flown in for the event by the Tech 9 crew.

Fabcar also took the Best Mitsubishi award with Steve Jones LF23R on display. The Fabcar team would like the thank Scott and Rob from Tech 9 Tyres for supplying all the rims and tyres for all our vehicles on display and the opportunity to join the great display.

Skyline V36 Series Sedan – Ready for delivery in 2010

After a long wait Fabcar has secured V36 Skyline sedans, ready for delivery in early 2010. We have already secured 3 orders for the upgraded 350GT Sedan and are looking forward to our first shipment arriving.

A range of colours with luxury appointed interiors to rival any German Car manufacturer, the V36 comes with the legendary VQ35 engine and stylish Skyline design, if you are looking for something different – you should consider the V36 sedan. New V36 Coupe’s (370GT) available

Two more CKV36 (370GT) Skylines are now available for immediate delivery; starting at $59,990 these are a must see vehicle.

Nissan’s answer to Lexus and the European marques, Infiniti is a luxury brand with focus on quality and performance. The international press have acclaimed the 370GT / Infiniti G37 coupe. Journalists in the United States have compared the G37 coupe favorably with the BMW 335i Coupe. Motor Trend “The King is Dead” put the G37 ahead of it’s German rival. Considering the price of the 370GT vs. the 335i here in Australia, the 370GT represents incredibly good value.

The 370GT comes in Base model, Type P, Type S and Type SP. Only Type S and Type SP is available with the 6 Speed manual transmission. Type S and Type SP models have the sports package including 4 wheel active steering, upgraded brakes, 19″ wheels and tyres. The Base model and Type P have 18″ wheels. The Type P and Type SP have the premium package including full leather trim and heated seats. Driver position memory allows preseting of seating and steering wheel position for two different drivers.

Standard safety equipment includes rigid, safe Zone Body construction, driver and front passenger SRS Air Bag System, driver and front passenger SRS Side Air Bag System, SRS Curtain Air Bag System, Active Front Head Restraints and three-point ELR rear seat belts. Anti-locking brake system (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and a speed-sensitive hydraulic power steering system are all standard features on all models.
